Workshops
ExCL brings area educators and service professionals access to creative materials and arts learning experiences through the efforts of a coordinated organization. We offer a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach to learning for the creative, arts-integrated classroom. Our Creative Classrooms series is a progressive, multi-disciplinary program for teachers at all levels of instruction. Presenting building blocks for a creative, arts-integrated classroom, each workshop offers a unique, innovative approach for engaging students and improving skills across the academic disciplines.
Each workshop has been carefully integrated with learning standards and offers a lively mix of presentation, demonstration, and hands-on learning stations where participants can use materials to create their own tools and products, take-away resource materials, and enjoy access to an ongoing stream of materials and arts integration expertise.
These workshops have been planned so that hopefully everyone can participate. Because we serve both out-of-school time educators and in school educators it is difficult to make a schedule that works for everyone. If you have suggestions please let us know.
You MUST register in advance. If we do not have ten people we will not run the workshop. Call Jodi to register 617-635-8284.
